Reading women between the lines

On a random road to everyday chores, I encounter the sounds of clinking bangles, colorful draped sarees, and Kurtis, bindi on the forehead. This defines the authentic outlook of women in my town.

Reading Women between the Lines is a collection of daily life pictures of women I see as a wayfarer. My self-exploration of these in-between lines gives parallel spaces of women’s multitasking identity. Some show the boxes that women are trapped in with social norms and predictability. Some dimensions explore co-existence. Some conversations sense the free heart. Some frowns remind me of a frog in the well and some grins bring hope.

These are the women I click. They have colors, rhythms, voices, and reflections—an identity.
